Don Pedro is producing big rainbows and king salmon. Capt. Monte Smith reports water temps of 60 to 63 degrees and rising, excellent clarity with about 10 feet of visibility, and the lake 22 feet from full. Shad on a homemade harness is the top setup, with fish to four pounds this past week. Best depths are 35 to 75 feet, and the kokanee bite is only a few weeks away.

Excellent. Water temps are 60 to 63 degrees and rising, clarity is great at about 10 feet of visibility, and the lake keeps filling, now 22 feet from full. It is producing lots of big fish.

We had some great trips with fish to four pounds, both rainbows and king salmon. We are running from depths of 35 to 75 feet deep, which has been our best depths.
