The Metal Head Fly works across a wide window. At 1.3 mph it gives a subtle pulsating action for finicky fish, and at 3 mph and up it switches to an aggressive darting motion. That range means one fly covers both finesse days and fast search trolling.
The Metal Head Fly blends natural fibers, latex strands, tinsel, and crystal flash for realism in both movement and appearance. That mix gives it a subtle pulsing action that mimics an injured baitfish, which is what draws aggressive strikes from trophy trout.
Run the Metal Head Fly behind a dodger or flasher. The added sweep and flash pull fish in and enhance the fly's own pulsing action. Adjust depth with lead core line, snap weights, or a downrigger to put the fly in front of holding trout.

I caught all five fish on a pink metal head trolling from 1.8 mph to 4.6 mph. We were in a 5 mph zone cruising at 4.6 mph when I threw my line out just for the heck of it and caught one. I couldn’t believe it.

Got about 5 Cutthroat hits but only 2 in the net probably going to have to add a trailer hook if I use these again
I haven't had much luck with the spoons yet but the metal head flies are amazing. We don't have trout or salmon in my lake but the flies were catching everything. I did make a video on it but it's too big to upload to this site. all your products are great the paint works are great better than any other lures on the metal head flies are great also caught my biggest rainbow trout so far 5LBS the only problem i found the hook is to small when tipping it with a worm i lost some fish when i tip it with a worm

I love these metal heads. I’ve been using these for years. I use these at Alcova lake up here in Wyoming and they worked great on the Kokane trout here.

Used the metal head fly on the Egegik River in Alaska for Silvers. 4 casts 4 hook ups. Wish the hook was a little heavier.🎣 As a side note, my order #15690 was not shipped complete. I have not received the gold dodger. Please review your records and let me know your findings. Thank you, for the great Tackel.

The Pink and White, and Orange metal heads were absolutely killer on the 1.5-3lb rainbows this past weekend. Viscous rod bending strikes one after another. Just ordered more of them!
