Lake Camanche Fishing Report

★★★★☆Fishing should remain solid with the same techniques.

Target species

Trout

Technique

Long rods with long leaders for casting from shore or boat fishing near islands

Depth 60 to 70 feet from shore

What is working right now

Use long rods paired with 6- to 10-foot leaders to cast far enough to reach deeper, colder water. Use heavier weights (½ oz to ¾ oz) to “bomb it out there” into the 60–70 foot zone. Consider renting a boat and fishing around islands for better results.
