What are the conditions like at Gold Beach?

Expect plenty of company. It is not a private spot, and it gets congested some days with lots of boats. The consistent action is the reason for the crowd. Jeff does not run these trips himself right now; his partner boat with Capt. Justin Thompson fishes them.

What is the outlook and where else is biting?

The Rogue king run should stay strong through mid-September. Jeff also noted Shasta and Whiskeytown are fishing great for kokanee, and he hears Trinity is good for kokanee too, with a 10-fish limit, though those fish run smaller than valley kokanee.
