What is working right now

Shasta Lake is fishing very good for kokanee, with king salmon fair to good depending on the day. Kokanee are holding 35 to 40 feet and kings 55 to 65 feet, though one nicer king came from 90 feet. The surface just hit 70 degrees, so a warm layer is forming that will push fish and shad deeper and concentrate the bite. Rainbow and brown trout are still slow but about to turn on. Shop Catch America kokanee gear from Capt. Jeff Goodwin's lineup.
