How is the Shaver Lake kokanee bite?Still strong. Max Gross reports the kokanee holding a manageable 50 to 60 feet deep. With triple-digit valley heat, plan for a shorter early day, because recreational boaters will crowd the lake and cut lines as the morning goes on. Start early and fish first.
