Bryan Roccucci landed fish from 7 to 15 feet deep while working water 15 to 45 feet, with the trout feeding on tui chub. Brighter colors and orange, especially a Jay Fair Special, produced best on overcast days. How is Eagle Lake fishing right now?Fall is just kicking off. Capt. Bryan Roccucci landed all his fish from 7 feet on the shallow side to 15 feet deep, while working water 15 to 45 feet. The fish are holding over that deeper water, waiting for cooler temperatures to push them into the shallows. How deep are Eagle Lake trout holding?Not deep. The fish came from 7 to 15 feet, even though Bryan worked water 15 to 45 feet, sometimes over 40 to 45 feet, picking up a few on turns.
