Questions and answers
What are Trigger Discs best for?
Trigger Discs add an erratic, darting action to soft plastics and trolling flies that often swim too straight on their own. The cupped disc rides ahead of your bait on a slow troll and makes it dart and dodge, which triggers aggressive strikes from trout and kokanee.
How do I rig a Trigger Disc?
Slide one disc onto your line ahead of your lure, then tie on your soft plastic or fly. The cup catches water on the troll and throws the bait into an erratic side-to-side action. Use a single disc per setup and let it do the work.
What lures work with Trigger Discs?
They are designed for trolling soft plastics and trolling flies, like Trix Minnows, grubs, worms, and bugger-style flies that need extra motion. Any straight-swimming trailer benefits from the added dart. Slide a disc in front and slow troll to bring lazy baits to life.
Are Trigger Discs visible to fish?
They are molded from durable, thick clear plastic that stays virtually invisible underwater, so fish focus on your bait and not the attractor. The clear body holds up trip after trip without cracking. All the fish see is a soft plastic or fly darting erratically on the troll.
How many Trigger Discs come in a pack?
This pack includes 5 Trigger Discs, enough to rig several rods or keep spares ready in the boat. Slide one ahead of each soft plastic or fly you want to animate. Keeping a few pre-rigged lets you add action to a lazy bait without re-tying on the water.
What bait should I run behind a Trigger Disc?
Trix Minnows 3 inch are a natural match, since the disc gives the soft plastic minnow an erratic darting swim that trout chase down. Rig the disc ahead of the minnow on a slow troll. Swap colors on the minnow while the disc keeps the action lively.

Wiggle disk for the win! Thanks Cal Kellog for your input
I am looking forward to trying them out. Should have done it this past week as I was searching for Saugeye…looks like it should do the trick!!!!
Can’t wait to try them out… hopefully adding action will increase strikes and hook up.
Looked like a knock off of the wiggle discs, seemed a little harder and sharper edges from this one…. Also the line guide hole was not open though, I had to drill out the center for the line to go through…..but they must have known they sent me more than I originally ordered.. priced for a good value from catch America…
I think it should come with stoppers so you can set it up at serpent lengths along your line while trolling.
They look great
Fast shipping. Great looking lures.
The Max Wiggle Discs are a must have with the plastics and flies for maximum action when trolling. Get them when you purchase your tackle with Catch America.
