I haven’t used it yet, I just wanted to thank Cal for the informative videos and ask if he was wearing makeup for the Catch talk.

About this product
The Trix Rigging Kit gives you everything needed to rig Trix Minnows and other soft baits in the head-forward, baitfish-accurate presentation that consistently outperforms a standard drop-back setup for rainbow trout and landlocked salmon. The kit includes the correct hook sizes, line, and hardware to build professional-grade rigged presentations without hunting down individual components separately. Rigging soft baits correctly is one of the most overlooked factors in trout trolling. A minnow that swims true produces fish, one that spins or folds gets passed over. This kit ensures your baits are set up right every time.

How to use
Questions and answers
What is the Trix Rigging Kit?
The Trix Rigging Kit supplies every essential for rigging Trix soft baits: hooks, beads, bobber stops, and Action Discs. The Action Disc introduces erratic movement that draws curious fish in from a distance to find the bait. It is the fastest way to build a clean, fish-ready soft plastic rig.
How do I build the rig?
Tie your hook to a length of fluoro or mono leader, slide on a bead, then two bobber stops. Add an Action Disc with the stem end pointed toward the hook. Thread the plastic lure onto the hook so it sits straight, leaving the tail free to swim naturally.
Can I troll fast or slow with this rig?
Yes. The finished Trix rig trolls fast or slow at any depth, and it also casts and retrieves well. For trout, a slow troll around 1.8 mph is a proven starting point. Use bobber stops to fine tune the spacing between the Action Disc and your bait.
What does the Action Disc do?
The Action Disc mounts in front of the bait and creates erratic, unpredictable movement that triggers fish curiosity. It pulls distant fish in close to investigate, then the soft plastic seals the strike. Point the stem end toward the hook and adjust spacing with the two bobber stops.
Which baits should I rig with it?
Rig it with Trix Minnows for a slim baitfish profile that trout chase on the troll. The kit hooks, beads, and Action Discs match the minnow perfectly, and the 25-pack keeps you supplied all season. Swap in Trix Worms or Grubs when you want to change the profile.
